We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Care Operations Manager to lead our Child Care programs in the North Peace Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building relationships, coaching, and performance management, as well as achieving operational goals and delivering the business plan for all Child Care programs in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve operational goals and deliver the business plan for all Child Care programs in the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Child Care Coordinators, staff, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality child care services.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the YMCA's mission, vision, and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all Child Care Licensing Regulations and YMCA Child Protection Policies.
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of excellence, quality, and customer service.
Requirements
  • BC ECE Degree or Diploma or combination of ECE and experience.
  • 3 years' leadership experience in child care and child development.
  • Experience leading an effective, engaged team.
  • Current child care First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record and Clear Vulnerable Sector Search.
  • Three satisfactory professional references.
  • Reliable transportation within the Peace River North Region.
