About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child Care Provider to join our team at Christopher Timothy Skinner. As a Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education: Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for household duties, including light housekeeping and cleaning, meal preparation, and laundry.
  • Child Supervision: Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Health and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and healthy environment, promoting good hygiene practices among children.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of daily activities, meals, and health information regarding children.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's daily activities and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and reliability.
  • Certifications: Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a home-based setting, providing care and education to children in a non-smoking and scent-free environment.
