Job Title: Sales Coordinator

Brandt is currently seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team in St-Augustin and Trois-Rivieres Construction & Forestry locations.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for providing support to the sales team and leading marketing initiatives with the Branding group for creation and upkeep of marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the sales team with proposal/bid and presentation preparation, including proposal writing.
  • Facilitate the gathering of content for marketing initiatives, such as brochures, case studies, photography/videos, and trade shows.
  • Work with the estimating group to standardize proposal templates.
  • Ensure consistency in our proposal submission and review to ensure submissions meet the formatting standard.
  • Work with the sales team to ensure all proposals are followed up with accordingly.
  • Responsible for collecting data and creating various reports as requested.
  • Responsible for championing the bid submission process, including communication from the sales team to the estimating and engineering team, and back to the sales team.
  • Implementing and leading new organization strategies for opportunity logging – prospecting.
  • Working with the sales team and sales manager to ensure submissions are on time and follow-up schedules are maintained.
  • Managing the standard proposal submission templates.
  • Working with the sales group to track and log lost opportunities and lead lost opportunity investigations.
  • Assisting with new market intelligence – new industry opportunity investigation.
  • Assisting infield salesmen with presentation/preparation materials.
Requirements:
  • Interest and aptitude in sales activities.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Positive, upbeat attitude with ambitious outlook.
  • Detail-oriented and good organizational skills.
  • Strong time management skills and effective working habits.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge preferred.
  • Previous experience in the heavy equipment industry preferred.
  • Previous experience in inventory coordination and sales considered an asset.
