About the Role

Instacart is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to play a vital role as a Warehouse Associate. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a fixed assets warehouse environment, with experience in setting up processes and structures to maintain order in a warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operation Planning: Ensure forward-looking scheduling of cart shipments on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure inventory transactional disciplines are in place to manage the proper movement of goods from order entry, goods receipt, and shipment. Champion, measure, and drive inventory accuracy to achieve goals and targets. Maintain and enhance the cycle count reporting.
  • Operations Reporting: Set up a process and reporting cadence for analysis of On Time Delivery, Productivity, Inventory, and all other applicable warehouse reporting activities.
  • Equipment: Help in defining the process and documentation required for maintenance and support flow.

Other Responsibilities

  • Working with internal departments, communicating with customers, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure the flow of materials and clear information.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics and inventory personnel to guarantee precise preparation and recording of warehouse items for shipment.
  • Ensure warehouse personnel have necessary equipment and skills to perform daily work assignments.
  • Develop and improve departmental work instructions and documented procedures to utilize existing systems and technology.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment. They will have the ability to simultaneously manage projects and day-to-day operations with a sense of urgency and without compromising quality. Clear written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
