About the Role
Instacart is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Caper Hardware Deployment Ops team as a Warehouse Associate. This is a three-month fixed term role based in Brantford, Ontario, requiring in-person office work at least 4 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Operation Planning: Ensure forward-looking scheduling of cart shipments on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Inventory Control: Champion, measure, and drive inventory accuracy to achieve goals and targets. Maintain and enhance the cycle count reporting.
- Operations Reporting: Set up a process and reporting cadence for analysis of On Time Delivery, Productivity, Inventory, and all other applicable warehouse reporting activities.
- Equipment: Help in defining the process and documentation required for maintenance and support flow.
Other Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with logistics and inventory personnel to guarantee precise preparation and recording of warehouse items for shipment.
- Ensure warehouse personnel have necessary equipment and skills to perform daily work assignments.
- Develop and improve departmental work instructions and documented procedures to utilize existing systems and technology.
About You
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in logistics, supply chain, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to direct production employees in a proactive and positive manner.
