Sales Development Representative

City Wide Facility Solutions, a professional sales and management leader in the building maintenance industry, is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join its Toronto-based team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business development through cold-calling, field walk-ins, and nurturing existing relationships.
Compensation:The estimated salary for this role is $100,000+ per year, with opportunities for rapid career advancement and commissions that can exceed 105% of sales goals.
This is a pure sales role focused on prospecting and closing deals with minimal post-sale account management. You will work closely with Business Development Account Managers and leadership to position City Wide's unique value proposition (UVP) and establish mutually profitable business relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:- Institute the sales process by scheduling appointments, understanding client requirements, and making initial presentations.
- Closing sales involves building rapport with potential accounts, explaining service capabilities, overcoming objections, and preparing contracts.
- Maintain accurate customer information using a CRM system.
- Manage your Hot 25 list in CRM to prioritize leads.
To succeed in this role, you must have
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in outside B2B sales, preferably in recent positions.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, including strong data entry and organization of sales data.
- Prior sales training certification.
- Experience closing short-cycle B2B sales.
- An organized approach within a defined sales process, moving clients from prospect to close.
- Able to coordinate team activities and collaborate effectively with operations and marketing teams.
- Strong MS Office skills.
