We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Support Services Office in Markham, Ontario.

**Job Summary:**

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence and data analysis, with experience in working with large datasets and creating interactive dashboards. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic dashboards and reports for senior management, as well as supporting the business in various reporting and analytical needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain strategic dashboards and reports for senior management
  • Support senior management and the business in various reporting and analytical needs, including reporting on key performance indicators (KPI), benchmarking, data visualizations, and routine and ad hoc reporting
  • Perform quality assurance to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and usability of all reports before they are released
  • Create documentation of technical specifications related to reports
  • Perform data analysis to identify new insights from existing or potential data sources to identify business opportunities
  • Assess the design of reporting and propose improvements to the process and reporting

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Math, or related discipline with a Chartered Professional Accounting Designation (Canadian)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in large organization or accounting firm using Microsoft BI technologies (SQL, Power BI, Excel)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to break down complex accounting terms and data into simplified format
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with sense of urgency and accountability
