Warehouse Operations Manager

At SHERRY CARRIER INC., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and other key performance indicators.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure adequate staffing levels and high-quality performance.
- Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics to ensure seamless execution of warehouse operations.
- 5-10 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and direct staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize warehouse operations and improve productivity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient workflow.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Reliability and initiative to take ownership of tasks and projects.
- Team player with excellent oral communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Fast-paced warehouse environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
- Physical demands include handling heavy loads and working in a warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail required to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient workflow.
- English is the primary language of communication.
- 40 hours per week.
