Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at SHERRY CARRIER INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Activities: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Develop and submit regular reports to management on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and supply chain performance.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of warehouse staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Control: Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of inventory levels.
- Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and transportation.
- Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting performance expectations and identify areas for improvement.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or supply chain role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and heavy loads.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and team player.
