PSP Investments is a leading player in the real estate investment landscape, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our team.



About the Role

As a Senior Analyst, Real Estate Investments, you'll be responsible for:



  • Analyzing Complex Real Estate Transactions: Collaborate with investment managers to evaluate potential real estate transactions across various asset classes, including residential, office, retail, and industrial assets.
  • Developing Financial Models: Lead the development and validation of financial models related to real estate investments (debt or equity) in collaboration with analysts.
  • Preparing Investment Recommendations: Act as a lead in preparing investment recommendations memorandums for investment approval.
  • Analyzing Cash Flows and Performance: Analyze cash flows and project returns, as well as the impact of different assumptions on performance.
  • Identifying Investment Risks: Analyze investment risks and the asset's operating budget and financial statements.
  • Participating in Due Diligence: Participate in the due diligence process and summarize external reports.
  • Drafting Administrative Documents: Participate in drafting administrative documents, business plans, and presentations.
  • Researching and Analyzing Markets: Research, synthesize, and analyze real estate markets by asset type and geography.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Real Estate
  • M.Sc. in Finance, MBA, CPA, or CFA Designation (Preferred)
  • Minimum 2 Years of Relevant Experience
  • Experience in Analysis of Real Estate Transactions (Asset)
  • Proficiency in Computer Tools like MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent Communication Skills in English and French (or willingness to learn)
