About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and manage a team of restaurant staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their performance goals.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
    • Monitor customer feedback and use it to make improvements to our service and operations.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring that they meet our high standards.
    • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
    • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that we are operating within our budget.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our restaurant and attract new customers.
    • Collaborate with our marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the financial performance of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Monitor and control expenses, ensuring that we are operating within our budget.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
    • 3-5 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
