Hotel Housekeeping Operations Manager

As a Housekeeping Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guest accommodations and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
About the Role:
The Housekeeping Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department. This includes establishing and controlling cleaning schedules, working closely with the Front Office to ensure guest rooms are ready on time, and leading a team of Housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional service standards. You will also assist in training and supervising Housekeeping staff and assume responsibility for the Department in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director of Housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Housekeeping staff to achieve exceptional service standards
- Establish and control cleaning schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Work closely with Front Office to ensure guest rooms are ready on time
- Assist in training and supervising Housekeeping staff
- Assume responsibility for the Department in the absence of the Director or Assistant Director of Housekeeping
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of progressive managerial or supervisory experience in a luxury hotel with experience in Housekeeping
- Experience managing within a unionized work environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
