Salary & Benefits

About the Role
This exciting opportunity as a Medical Imaging Specialist at Toronto General Hospital & Toronto Western Hospital requires a skilled technologist to perform various imaging procedures, including computed tomography (CT) scans. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures, some general radiography, and digital quality assurance
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and management personnel
- Participate in ongoing education, training, and quality assurance initiatives
- Rotate to other UHN sites as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Registration with the CMRITO
- Previous general imaging experience
- Completion of a BCLS program and Level II Basic Rescuer certification
- One year recent experience in a related area of responsibility
- Current experience in computed tomography within the last five years
- Strong technical skills, image quality, and anatomy/pathology knowledge
- Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work accurately under stressful conditions
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to ongoing education and continuous improvement
