Job Title: Guest Service Supervisor

Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge Smithers is seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Assist guests with special needs, providing personalized support and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring a high level of competence and confidence.
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging repair work as needed to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions to operations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management.
