About the Role:


We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can teach and mentor students in math and science subjects at the Grade 9-12 level. As a part-time education specialist, you will work directly with students as an Interactive Coach, teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels.


Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field">
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered">
  • Teaching certification an asset">
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum, particularly senior math and including, but not limited to, Advanced Functions, algebra, trigonometry and calculus, as well as vectors, physics, chemistry, and biology">
  • Some experience teaching/tutoring math and science at a Grade 9 to 12 (or equivalent) level">
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills">
  • Strong math skills and ability to guide students' understanding">
  • Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time">
