Overview

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing specialized care to complex pediatric patient populations.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in various specialized areas, including the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), inpatient wards, and the Pediatric Emergency Department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

The Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist will:

  • Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in various settings
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Participate in precepting respiratory therapy clinical students

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A graduate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
  • Experience working in a pediatric critical care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $83,000 - $113,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
