Job Summary

The Client Relations Consultant will be responsible for managing client relationships and providing exceptional service to clients of the Out of Quebec Disability Management Department. This role requires strong communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze disability, life, critical illness, and specialized health insurance portfolios to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance client relationships.
  • Participate in meetings with Actuarial and Sales departments to evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address client concerns and improve service delivery.
  • Represent the department as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the claims team to resolve service issues and manage politically sensitive cases.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the department remains competitive and compliant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the Life and Disability claims Group Insurance Industry.
  • Excellent command of the English language; French is an asset.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
