Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Consultant in the MS Clinic at University Hospital of Northern BC. As a key member of the Regional MS Team, you will provide specialized clinical care to patients with Multiple Sclerosis, working collaboratively with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients with MS, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up
  • Collaborate with the Regional MS Team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Work closely with primary care providers to educate and support them in caring for patients with MS
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to MS care

Requirements
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Three years of recent related clinical nursing experience, including one year in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Completion of applicable Canadian Nursing Association (CNA) certificate in the designated clinical area
