Job Description

Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager, Transportation Execution to join our team. As a key member of our Transportation Execution team, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our transportation operations, including DEA, Speed, OB Trans Network Design, and Capacity Planning for Last Mile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day execution, ensuring successful delivery of transportation operations.
  • Drive network optimization, execute configuration changes in partnership with Tess, and organize scheduling by raising tickets.
  • Use analytics, dashboards, and queries to deep dive and improve network share, volume attainment, DEA, and other performance metrics.
  • Partner with STP/MTP/LTP teams in potential expansions, launches, and deprecations.
  • Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
  • Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
  • Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to successfully plan and deliver for HVEs.
  • Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with impact and urgency.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
  • Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
  • Ensure clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
  • Manage and communicate project status effectively and timely.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience.
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
  • Experience in complex problem-solving and working in a tight schedule environment.
