Job Description


As a Transportation Program Manager at Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of transportation programs, ensuring successful delivery and driving network optimization. Your key responsibilities will include managing day-to-day execution, ensuring successful delivery, and driving network optimization. You will also use analytics, dashboards, and queries to deep dive and improve network share, volume attainment, DEA, and other performance metrics. Additionally, you will partner with cross-functional teams to operationalize projects and navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage day-to-day execution, ensuring successful delivery and driving network optimization
  • Use analytics, dashboards, and queries to deep dive and improve network share, volume attainment, DEA, and other performance metrics
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to operationalize projects
  • Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios
  • Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to successfully plan and deliver for HVEs
  • Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with impact and urgency
  • Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues
  • Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives
  • Ensure clear visibility of milestones and project performance
  • Manage and communicate project status effectively and timely

Requirements



  • 2+ years of program or project management experience
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
  • Experience in MS Access and SQL
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level
