Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Program Manager to join our team at Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC. As a key member of our Execution team, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our transportation operations, including DEA, Speed, OB Trans Network Design, and Capacity Planning for Last Mile.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day execution, ensuring successful delivery of transportation operations.
  • Drive network optimization and execute configuration changes in partnership with Tess.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to operationalize projects and improve network share, volume attainment, DEA, and other performance metrics.
  • Set clear objectives for programs and leverage data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
  • Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
  • Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to successfully plan and deliver for HVEs.
  • Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with impact and urgency.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
  • Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology.
  • Experience in MS Access and SQL.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents.
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level.
