Job Summary


The Senior Transportation Program Manager will oversee aspects of Transportation Execution, including DEA, Speed, OB Trans Network Design, and Capacity Planning for Last Mile. This role will manage overall Trans Outbound Costs, handle volume-related escalations, and oversee Linehauls and VAA operations.


The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of program or project management experience, 3+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams, and 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage Day-to-Day Execution, ensuring successful delivery through network optimization, configuration changes, and scheduling.
  • Use analytics, dashboards, and queries to improve network share, volume attainment, DEA, and other performance metrics.
  • Partner with STP/MTP/LTP teams on potential expansions, launches, and deprecations.
  • Set clear objectives for programs and leverage data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
  • Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
  • Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to successfully plan and deliver for HVEs.
  • Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with impact and urgency.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
  • Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
  • Ensure clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
  • Manage and communicate project status effectively and timely.

Requirements



  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience.
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.

Preferred Qualifications



  • 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
  • Experience in complex problem-solving and working in a tight schedule environment.
