Restaurant Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, with a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include determining the type of services to be offered, implementing operational procedures, and balancing cash and completing balance sheets. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for conducting performance reviews, cost control, and enforcing provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Efficiency: Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews
  • Cost Control: Cost products and services
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Supply Chain Management: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Customer Service: Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
