We are currently searching for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a full-time shift position. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for planning and delivering nursing care to our residents, ensuring their individualized needs are met in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement client care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing invasive procedures, and teaching delegated nursing tasks to staff
- Supervise Health Care Aide staff to ensure safe and effective implementation of client care plans
- Communicate effectively with family members, healthcare agencies, physicians, and other stakeholders regarding resident needs and wellbeing
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence

What We're Looking For:
- A registered nurse with a minimum of 1 year of experience in geriatric care, preferably in a seniors assisted living environment
- Current Healthcare Provider training and CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid licensure and registration in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Estimated Salary: $83,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
