Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Professional to join our team at Trusser Construction. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

  • Implement new administrative procedures and review existing ones to ensure efficiency.
  • Delegate tasks to office support staff and establish work priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to record releases under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Coordinate and plan office services, including accommodation, equipment, supplies, and security services.
  • Assist in preparing the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Train staff and oversee office administrative procedures.
  • Resolve conflict situations and monitor and evaluate office operations.
  • Oversee payroll administration and plan and control budget and expenditures.

Requirements

  • College/CEGEP education and 1-2 years of experience in office administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and other computer applications.
