We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Aide to join our team at AgeCare Cariboo Place. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition to the care team
  • Participate in care planning and implementation to ensure residents receive the best possible care
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Assist with laundry and linen services
  • Administer first aid and provide basic care in emergency situations
Requirements:
  • Completion of a recognized education program in healthcare or a related field
  • Valid certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and First Aid
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the role
