Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong compliance culture within the organization.
  • Manage environmental operations compliance, project management experience, and advising lines of business on environmental compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with regulating agencies for transportation and site permits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to medical and hazardous waste inquiries from business, and handle regulatory audits.
  • Conduct risk assessments, auditing, monitoring, and other compliance department activities.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance and interpretation to internal procedures, and develop compliance policies/procedures.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and execute work to meet critical deadlines.
  • Self-starter with ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Intermediate/advanced level in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
