Support Coordinator for AI Research Initiatives

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Coordinator to support the operational and communication needs of the AI Institute at Dalhousie University.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Institute, including enhancing its online presence and providing logistical support to the team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage and maintain the AI Institute website, ensuring content is up-to-date and engaging.
  • Schedule and organize Institute meetings, internal research discussions, and outreach events.
  • Develop and implement new administrative processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate between partners and manage key documents to ensure projects move forward smoothly.

**Requirements:**

  • Post-secondary education with one year of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Technical proficiency to update and maintain the Institute's website and manage digital communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

**Salary Range:

$40,000 - $50,000 per annum (based on 35 hours/week), or $8,000-$10,000 per annum (based on 20% FTE).
