At Outlier, we are looking for a skilled Dutch language expert to join our team of freelance writers. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute your expertise in training generative artificial intelligence models.

About the Opportunity:

  • We are seeking talented writers with fluency in Dutch to help us improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our AI models.
  • This freelance position is remote, offering flexible hours that fit your schedule.

As a Dutch language expert, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reading and ranking Dutch text produced by an AI model
  • Writing short stories in Dutch on various topics
  • Evaluating the factual accuracy of Dutch text generated by an AI model

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience as a professional translator or writer (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor)
  • Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or writing-related field
  • Graduate program enrollment or completion in creative writing

Compensation:

  • Average pay rates for core project work range from USD $30 per hour, with variations based on expertise, skills assessment, location, and project need
  • Higher rates may be offered to PhDs, while lower rates apply to non-core work, such as initial project onboarding or project overtime phases
