About the Role

The Senior HSE Coordinator is a key member of the Graham team, responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental protection of our employees, clients, and the general public. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct project-specific safety orientations for all workers and visitors
  • Confirm equipment inspections and report any noncompliant conditions
  • Assist in BBS assessments and confirm the posting of emergency documents
  • Review incident reports and maintain monthly statistics
  • Conduct project inspections with the project Superintendent and worker
  • Arrange or conduct HSE training for workers and Supervisors
  • Interact with regulatory bodies and clients
  • Demonstrate HSE and Quality behaviors that reflect corporate expectations

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school graduation and completion of a diploma training program
  • Certification in Health and Safety or a safety designation is an asset
  • 2-3 years of experience in safety or a related field
  • Understanding of HSE MS systems and general constructability
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and online reporting software
