About the Role

The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the well-being of Avmax employees and the safety of our operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Health and Safety, this position is responsible for maintaining company HSE data, tracking statistics, and preparing reports as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain HSE data, statistics, and reports.
  • Maintain the company HSE hazard registry.
  • Prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute them for HSPC and other meetings as needed.
  • Coordinate Health and Safety Representatives and Fire Warden activities.
  • Research and develop health and safety programs as required.
  • Oversee and keep current information on the HSE SharePoint site.
  • Create imaging and messages for TV displays as a method of communication.
  • Create and revise documents, postings, and manuals as required.
  • Attend Calgary location floor meetings and present at meetings from time to time.
  • Maintain Health and Safety boards in all Calgary locations.
  • Work with the Training Coordinator to set up New Hire onboarding and course development.
  • Maintain non-aviation vendor status, verify WCB Clearance, and Insurance requirements.
Requirements
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Marketing experience is an asset.
  • Experience in Health and Safety is an asset but not required.
