Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Health Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will work in an expanded scope of practice to provide primary care, public health, health promotion, and emergency care for First Nations individuals, families, and communities.

About the Role

As a Community Health Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of health programs and services that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in nursing from a recognized institution
  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Must be or working towards Remote Certification (RNC) with BCCNM
  • Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP)
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's license
  • An understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols
  • Knowledge of nursing processes

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
