About the Role

This exciting opportunity for a Community Health Nurse involves providing comprehensive nursing care and support to individuals, families, and communities across remote First Nations regions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering evidence-based nursing interventions to address health issues and promote wellness.
  • Developing and implementing programs to prevent disease and injury, as well as enhance overall health and well-being.
  • Collaborating with community members and stakeholders to identify and address health inequities and determinants of health.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Basic Life Support Certification Level C.
  • A valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.
  • Minimum one year of recent point-of-care nursing experience in a related field.
