Job Description:
  • Provide expert advice and support to customers in our Home Centre.
  • Consult with customers to assemble orders and arrange deliveries.
  • Assist in receiving products and reviewing documentation to ensure accurate quantities and types.
  • Advise management of any stock deficiencies.
  • Pick-up deliveries from suppliers, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Collect payment on deliveries and coordinate pick-up of returned items from customers.
  • Ensure safe operation of company equipment, including forklifts.
  • Support other departments and duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma.
  • 1-2 years of previous lumber yard experience.
  • Previous experience in a Home Centre retail location is considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for success.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
