Opportunity for a Part-Time Ophthalmologist

Hawkesbury General Hospital is seeking a part-time Ophthalmologist to join its dynamic ambulatory care and surgical teams.

About the Role

We are a family and patient-centred bilingual regional hospital, serving a predominantly francophone population. As such, fluency in both French and English is a requirement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality eye care services to patients
  • Collaborate with our team of over 200 physicians and 800 employees to deliver exceptional healthcare services
  • Participate in surgical and ambulatory care activities
What We Offer

We provide attractive benefits, including zero overhead expenses and the opportunity to work in our state-of-the-art, newly constructed ambulatory care building.

Our ORs have undergone recent renovations to introduce natural lighting and are fully equipped with brand new equipment.

A minimum of one day of dedicated OR time per week is available, as well as a minimum of 2 clinic days per week.

Access to a YAG/SLT Laser, Visual Field, and OCT is also available.

Independent Practice and Relocation Incentives

Independent practice license from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario is required.

Rural incentives and relocation bonuses may apply.
