Job Overview:
To provide a comprehensive range of Reliability Engineering and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) solutions for various IMP contracts, including Commercial and Military, Aerospace, Naval, and Land Programs.
The Reliability Engineer will be based at the IMP Aerospace and Defence location near the Halifax International Airport. This role will involve:
- Performing Life Cycle Costs Analyses, Cost Benefit Analyses, and providing recommendations based on availability and long-term cost.
- Conducting and supporting System Safety Assessments for fleet modification projects.
- Providing mentorship to more junior department members.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, with demonstrable electrical knowledge and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years specializing in reliability engineering. CMRP or CRE is considered an asset.
- Experience in failure analysis is considered an asset.
- Experience in conducting System Safety Assessments, in accordance with applicable military or industry standards, is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in using software tools such as Windchill Quality Solutions, Omega PS, and Omega PS Analyzer, is considered an asset.
- Military and civil aircraft reliability standards knowledge is considered an asset.
- You must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC- Contract Security Program, and Transport Canada RAIC clearance.
