Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with opportunities for remote work, this position offers a unique blend of project management, client relationship building, and technical expertise.

Compensation Package

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $200,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including extended healthcare, dental, life insurance, and a retirement savings plan with matching contributions.

About the Job

This position requires a licensed Professional Engineer with a BS, BSc, or BEng degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience in structural engineering. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, oral and written communication skills, and experience working with clients and contractors during planning and construction projects. Additionally, dam safety experience and design experience with dams or hydroelectric facilities are highly valued.

  1. Manage all aspects of large, multi-discipline projects, working closely with senior leaders to provide practical solutions to complex problems affecting renewable energy, water, and the environment.
  2. Establish long-lasting relationships with clients, assisting them in solving complex engineering challenges and demonstrating ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
