Biomedical Engineering Specialist

Nova Scotia Health Authority seeks a skilled Biomedical Engineering Specialist to support medical technology.
This is a permanent, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. The salary range is $28.89 - $38.67 Hourly.
The ideal candidate will have a two-year course in Electronics Engineering Technology and be registered or eligible to be registered with TechNova as a Certified Engineering Technologist.
Duties include repairing, maintaining, and calibrating life support and other medical devices. The successful candidate must have access to reliable transportation and specialized training in advanced biomedical equipment.
We are looking for someone with a strong knowledge of electronics, networking medical devices, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
