Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at PALFINGER AG. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of inventory and shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort and prioritize deliveries to meet inventory and shipping requirements
  • Pick and assemble ordered components for packing and shipping
  • Verify inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Secure shipping containers to prevent damage or loss of components
  • Pick kits as specified by production orders
  • Generate pick slips and delivery notes
  • Enter shipment details into the shipping system
  • Generate shipping labels and documents
  • Arrange for carrier pickups and load shipments onto transport vehicles
  • Ensure shipments are ready for couriers and carriers at designated pick-up times
  • Maintain required licenses and certifications to operate warehouse equipment
  • Maintain stocks of shipping supplies and report deficiencies to supervisors
  • Ensure warehouse and shipping areas are clean and tidy

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of warehouse experience required
  • Previous experience in an automotive parts role is preferred
  • Understanding of warehouse processes and inventory management
  • Forklift experience required
  • Able to complete in-house forklift license requirement within 4 weeks of start date
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and customer-focused mindset
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Attention to detail and ability to enter data for informational purposes
  • Knowledge of MS Office Applications and ability to understand basic input functions for SAP system
  • Detail-oriented with a familiarization of quality and lean manufacturing practices
  • Time management and problem-solving skills required
  • Proactive and self-motivated with minimal supervision required
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
