We are seeking a skilled Receiver to join our team at Vintage Hotels. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and distribution of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and other departments to receive, inspect, and put away products.
  • Inspect shipments for quality and arrange for re-inspection if necessary.
  • Maintain a backorder file and follow up on outstanding supplies.
  • Print purchase orders for daily arrivals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Health and safety training required.

Physical Demands:

  • Heavy lifting of over 90 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Walking and bending throughout the shift.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures.
