About the Role
The Supply Chain Coordinator is instrumental in overseeing supply chain operations, enhancing inventory management, and controlling expenditures to facilitate seamless workflows. Key responsibilities include:
- Supply Chain & Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels, implement control measures, forecast demand, and ensure timely procurement of goods.
- Product Catalog & Cost Analysis: Maintain an updated product catalog, assess product costs, negotiate with vendors, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Purchasing & Receiving: Process purchase orders, manage vendor relationships, verify incoming goods, and ensure compliance with procurement standards.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, conduct market assessments, and analyze conditions to make informed procurement choices.
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute procurement strategies, source suppliers, negotiate agreements, and oversee supplier performance.
- Warehouse Support: Assist during peak times, maintain warehouse organization, and collaborate with warehouse personnel.
About You
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree or diploma in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical capabilities.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process enhancement.
- Completion of an L2 police background check.
