Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Coordinator to join our team at the New Brunswick Extra Mural Program. The successful candidate will provide administrative support services to the EMP Unit.

  • Registration/Admission Duties:
    • Processes referral requests, enters physicians' orders.
    • Admits, transfers, registers, and discharges patients.
    • Maintains patient charts and files reports.
  • Fleet Maintenance Duties:
    • Covers vehicle fleet maintenance such as repairs, cleaning, and annual inspection.
    • Ensures vehicles are assigned to employees; maintains all related vehicle documentation.
  • Administrative Support Duties:
    • Creates and types documents, including reports, letters, forms, tables.
    • Performs general office duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, processing mail.
    • Maintains inventory of office equipment and medical supplies.
    • Compiles statistics and produces reports on admissions, visits, discharges, travel, and education.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and decision-making skills. They must be able to work efficiently as a member of the team and maintain a high regard for confidentiality.
