Job Title: Recreation Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recreation Program Coordinator to join our team at Causeway Work Centre.

Job Summary:

The Recreation Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing recreation programs for individuals with mental health disabilities. This includes planning and executing special events, providing expert advice and consulting services, and performing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement recreation programs for individuals with mental health disabilities
  • Plan and execute special events, such as workshops and outings
  • Provide expert advice and consulting services in the design, development, and administration of sports, fitness, and recreation programs
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and record-keeping
  • Work with a team to develop and implement program plans
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health disabilities an asset
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a physically demanding environment
