Job Title: Recreation Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recreation Activities Coordinator to join our team at Causeway Work Centre.

Job Summary:

The Recreation Activities Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing recreation programs and activities for individuals with mental health disabilities. This includes performing administrative tasks, coordinating special events, and providing expert advice and consulting services in the design, development, and administration of sports, fitness, and recreation programs and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement recreation programs and activities for individuals with mental health disabilities
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Coordinate special events, such as workshops and seminars
  • Provide expert advice and consulting services in the design, development, and administration of sports, fitness, and recreation programs and activities
  • Work with a team to develop and implement program plans and budgets
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health disabilities an asset
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
