Job Title: Recreation Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Recreation Program Coordinator to join our team at Causeway Work Centre.

Job Summary:

The Recreation Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing recreation programs and activities for individuals with mental health disabilities. This includes performing administrative tasks, coordinating special events, and providing expert advice and consulting services in the design, development, and administration of sports, fitness, and recreation programs and activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement recreation programs and activities for individuals with mental health disabilities
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Coordinate special events, such as workshops and seminars
  • Provide expert advice and consulting services in the design, development, and administration of sports, fitness, and recreation programs and activities
  • Work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve program goals
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health disabilities an asset
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Excellent oral communication and organizational skills
  • Judgement and ability to work independently
