Job Description: Physiotherapy Assistant

As a Physiotherapy Assistant with Arvan Rehab Group, you will work closely with our Physiotherapists to provide high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with group exercises and one-on-one sessions under the supervision of our Physiotherapists.
  • Encouraging residents to reach their treatment goals by implementing personalized programs.
  • Documenting treatments and progress after each session as directed by our Physiotherapists.
  • Providing safe transfers, walking assistance, and other supportive services to residents.
  • Maintaining open communication with residents, supervisors, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A degree in Physiotherapy Assistance or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent multitasking skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Previous experience working in Long Term Care or Retirement settings, an asset.
  • A valid police check for the Vulnerable Sector.
  • A current 2 STEP TB Test and/or Chest X-Ray.
  • A reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license (as public transportation is not accessible).
  • Residency in the Kingsville or Windsor area.
