Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior/Associate Fire Engineer to join our expanding team in Gold Coast. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in fire code reform and regulatory acceptance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop well-structured reports outlining proposed solutions with low liability risk, supporting straightforward project approvals.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the fire brigade and advocate for performance solutions.
- Utilize computer programs such as FDS, CFAST, and Firewind for analysis and reporting.
- Review reports to company quality standards and address administrative tasks.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with postgraduate studies in fire engineering recognized by state and federal accreditation bodies.
- 5-6+ years of experience in fire engineering.
