As a key member of the university's senior academic team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Faculty of Education in its mission to advance education through research, teaching, and practice.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Faculty of Education, aligning with the university's institutional strategic plan and the Faculty's strategic plan.
  • Manage resources effectively, promoting research, pedagogical, and scholarly excellence within the Faculty.
  • Nurture mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and industry partners.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to support the Faculty's mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with other faculties and departments to advance the university's academic and research agenda.

**Requirements**

  • Appointable at the rank of Full Professor, with a record of outstanding senior academic and administrative leadership in education or a related field.
  • Deep commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and practice, with a broad understanding of the range of scholarship found within the Faculty.
