Hotel Operations Manager

Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre Edmonton South is seeking a skilled Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel management and be able to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure seamless operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating with suppliers, performing front desk duties, preparing budgets, and overseeing maintenance activities. They will also be the primary point of contact for customer complaints and concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
  • Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies
  • Perform front desk duties
  • Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
  • Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 32 to 35 hours per week
