Job Title: Hotel Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team at Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham West Edmonton. As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the hotel operates in accordance with company standards.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage the hotel's budget and ensure that expenses are kept under control.
  • Monitor and maintain the hotel's facilities and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Ensure that the hotel's policies and procedures are communicated to all staff and that they are adhered to.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a hotel management role.
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and management principles.
Working Conditions:
  • 30-40 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
